How I Attended an All-Guy's Mixer

Goukon ni Ittara Onna ga Inakatta Hanashi · 合コンに行ったら女がいなかった話

Tokiwa figures it is just a mixer. His classmate Suo invited him, his buddies Asagi and Haghi tag along to even out the numbers, and the three of them walk in expecting a relaxed evening with some cute girls. Instead, three strikingly handsome guys are waiting at the table. Turns out those guys are Suo, Fuji and Kohaku. The girls work at a drag bar, they came straight from a shift, and nobody had time to change. So the whole date slides into something that looks a lot less like romance and a lot more like three bros hanging out, except the waiter keeps hovering and strangers keep staring at the wrong moments. Tokiwa cannot decide if he is on a date or at a comedy show. Still, something shifts. The five of them keep meeting up, and the line between who is pretending and who actually means it starts to blur in ways none of them planned for. So what happens when the joke wears off and one of them realizes they are not laughing anymore?
