Ueno runs her middle school science club, and she is scary good at it. Give her a beaker of ditch water and she will turn it into something drinkable. Foul smells, dark matter, invisibility tricks: all solved before lunch. There is exactly one problem she cannot crack, and it has nothing to do with chemistry. That problem is Tanaka, her fellow club member, who sits there calm as a stone while she quietly loses her mind over him. Too nervous to say the words, she builds gadgets instead, hoping to fluster him into falling for her. The plan, as she sees it, is to catch him in perverted situations until his heart gives out. Yamashita, her deadpan classmate, tags along as the world's most patient assistant. Tanaka remains clueless. Every invention lands, just never the way Ueno wanted. So the smartest girl in school keeps firing love at a boy who does not even know he is a target. Will one of her machines ever get through to him, or is she stuck building confessions he will never read?
