Tsubasa moves from Tokyo to Hokkaido and steps straight into a wall of snow and wind that cuts right through him. He barely makes it down the street. Then a girl walks past in a short skirt, no hat, no tights, knees pink from the cold, chatting like it is a warm spring afternoon. Her name is Minami Fuyuki, she is a local, and she is not dressed for the weather at all. She just does not care. Turns out she sits right next to him in class the very next day. From then on she keeps pulling him into conversations, showing him around, and dragging him deeper into Hokkaido life. The cold stops bothering him so much. Other girls from school start to circle in too, each one with her own style and her own way of getting his attention. He came north expecting snow and quiet. Now his whole school life revolves around a girl who seems immune to frost and refuses to leave him alone. Can a Tokyo kid really keep up with a Hokkaido gal, or is he already in way over his head?
