Chitose has finally settled into a strange but warm routine: five teachers under one roof, all of them fussing over him like mothers. Breakfast, school, chores, the usual chaos. Then a moving truck pulls up next door. A girl named Kuron Nagatsuki moves in, and she is not there for the neighborhood. She wants Mu-chan as her mother. Just like that, Chitose is no longer the only kid in the running. The two of them start circling the same woman, competing for a spot that only one child can fill, and the household that used to feel settled starts tilting sideways. Every day becomes a quiet contest: who gets picked, who gets left out. The five teachers are caught in the middle, and Mu-chan has to decide something no one wants to say out loud. So who ends up as Mu-chan's child?
