Keita Amano is a high schooler with one real hobby: playing games, any time, any place. No girlfriend, no drama, just his handheld console and a quiet routine. Then he runs into Karen Tendou, the prettiest and smartest girl in school, and she turns out to be a gamer too. She even runs the video game club, and she wants him to join. Here is the twist. He says no. Keita just wants to play what he likes, the way he likes, and the club turns out to be nothing like that. Karen, though, is not used to being turned down, and her interest in him does not go away. It only gets stronger. Now his calm life is a mess of mixed signals, misunderstandings, and other gamers who keep showing up and making everything more complicated. Keita wanted nothing more than to be left alone with his games. So why does every choice he makes pull him deeper into something that has almost nothing to do with games at all?
