"Eiji"

ComedyDramaSports1990Production I.GRating 5,717+HD

Eiji spends his nights in a cramped club, guitar strapped to his chest, sweat flying off his knuckles in the pit. His father was a legend in the ring. His brother fights for money too. Eiji would rather smash some guy's face into a locker after class than lace up gloves. Then an old man starts showing up at his shows. Turns out he used to train his dad, and he sees something in the way Eiji throws a punch. So the kid who hates boxing suddenly has a reason to care. Naoya Kusanagi, the smug classmate who took the high school title, has a younger sister. Eiji meets her, and something clicks. Now every jab Naoya lands feels personal. Every trophy on the shelf is a dare. The anger that used to get Eiji suspended starts looking a lot like hunger. Can a punk who never wanted to fight his father's fight survive stepping into the same ring?
