Digimon Beatbreak
Tomorou Tenma has an e-Pulse stronger than anyone's, the thought-and-emotion energy that keeps every Sapotama egg humming along in daily life. His is so strong it fries them. Glitches follow him everywhere. Then one night something crawls out of his own device, calls itself Gekkoumon, and politely announces it wants to eat him. Or at least the energy pouring off him. Digimon are what happens when a Sapotama breaks the wrong way. They feed on e-Pulse, and the hungry ones can drain a person completely, leaving them hollowed out in something called Cold Heart. That's what happens to Tomorou's older brother Asuka. No warning, no goodbye. Just an empty body on a bed. Tomorou swears he'll make someone pay for it. Then he runs into Glowing Dawn, a crew that hunts rogue Digimon for bounty money. Their leader Kyou Sawashiro drops a bomb: Asuka might still come back. Might. Tomorou doesn't trust these people, not even a little, but standing alone won't save his brother either. So he joins up. What price does Kyou actually expect him to pay?
