Thirty years ago the Eurasian continent cracked apart. Spatial quakes, over 150 million dead, and the world has been living with the aftershocks ever since. Shidou Itsuka is just a high school kid sharing an apartment with his little sister Kotori, until the day Tengu City nearly splits open and he runs straight into the blast trying to reach her. At the center of the destruction stands a girl in armor. She is a Spirit, and her arrival is what tears the sky. Before Shidou can process any of it, soldiers from the Anti-Spirit Team are already moving in to kill her.
