Episode 2 · Cluster Edge

Cluster Edge

At Cluster Edge Academy the children of the powerful learn how to run things. Artificial soldiers patrol the borders, religious sects fight for influence, and the student body keeps its head down. Then Agate Fluorite transfers in. He grins too much. He asks too many questions. Even Beryl Jasper, an honors student who has seen everything, can't stop watching him. Strange things start happening around Agate, and he has no idea why. Whatever he is, it's bigger than the school and more dangerous than the people running it. The world that built Cluster Edge might not survive what he brings with him. So what exactly walked through those gates, and who sent him?
