Three sisters run a little cafe called Cat's Eye. Coffee, pastries, the usual. Then night falls, and the same three women slip into galleries and walk out with paintings nobody can trace. They do it for one reason: their father, the artist Michael Heintz, vanished without a word, and his canvases are the only breadcrumbs he left behind. So they steal, hoping a frame or a signature will point them to him. There is one problem. Hitomi, the middle sister, is dating Toshi, a young police inspector who has made it his personal mission to put Cat's Eye behind bars. He buys her dinner. He complains about the thief who keeps slipping through his fingers. She nods and listens. Every time she plans a heist, she has to plan around the man she loves. Every time he gets close, she has to smile and pretend she is on his side. How long can she keep stealing from him while sleeping next to him?
