Episode 13 · Black Jack 21

Black Jack 21

A boy is blown apart by a bomb. He lives. His mother does not. Years later he works as an unlicensed surgeon, stitching up patients nobody else will touch, and the explosion is still sitting in his chest like shrapnel. Then a trail of clues pulls him back to that day. The bomb was not an accident. It was tied to a project called Noir, and the doctors who signed off on it were men he trusted, including his own father. Now the scalpel in his hand is not the only weapon he needs. He digs into an organization that buries its work under corpses and clean paperwork, and every answer drags him closer to the people who made him. Can he cut out the truth without cutting himself open first?
