Seishuu Handa has the looks, the talent, and an award on his shelf. Then a veteran calligrapher calls his prize-winning piece unoriginal. Handa snaps, and just like that, his life in Tokyo is over. His father ships him off to the Goto Islands as punishment. No galleries, no fancy cafes, just tractors, old men, and neighbors who walk straight into his house without knocking. A pack of kids, led by the fearless little Naru, treats his home like a playground. Middle school girls, nosy grandpas, everybody wants a piece of him. He came to be alone and get some work done. Good luck with that. Somewhere between the chaos and the noise, the arrogant city artist starts to change. But can a guy who never lived outside a megacity really find his own style, or will the island teach him something he never saw coming?
