Eren Yeager starts junior high the way anyone does: nervous, hungry, clutching a lunch. Then a titan takes it. Not his life, not his hometown, just the cheeseburger he was saving. That is the whole war now. He swears to wipe every last one of them off the face of the school. Mikasa and Armin get dragged along, because of course they do. Between classes and club duties with the Wall Cleanup Club, the trio keeps running into familiar faces, and the titans keep running off with somebody's food. Rivalries get settled in gym class. Turf wars break out over the cafeteria tables. Nobody is fighting for humanity here, just for the right to eat lunch in peace. So when the bell rings and the hallway fills with hungry giants, whose sandwich is going to survive until fifth period?
