Tokidoki Rikugou hates history. He failed the course, so his school ships him off to a museum lecture to fix the grade. The main attraction is a huge walk-through recreation of Edo period Japan, samurai and all. He shuffles in knowing nothing, smirking at the old superstitions about gods and demons. Then a demon comes at him on a bridge. A swordsman named Kuchiha cuts it down and saves his life, but something is wrong with Tokidoki's left eye. It goes dark. And the exit? Gone. This is not a simulation anymore. It is the real Edo, with real unrest and real monsters, and he is stuck inside it. Another trapped kid, Kon Shinonome, is already here, so at least he is not alone. Now Tokidoki has to fight to keep the village safe while digging into who built this place and why. What exactly did that museum company sign him up for?
