4 Cut Hero
He beat the Demon King. Sword down, job done, the whole world saved. Then he finally reaches the princess he came all this way to rescue, and the princess is a prince. No wedding, no happy ending, just a hero standing there with nothing left to do. Fine by him. He goes home, kicks off his boots, and settles in for a life of cartoons and zero responsibilities. Except the world has other plans. Ancient legends wake up. A curse that has been sitting quiet for a thousand years decides now is the time to move, and suddenly kingdoms are scheming against each other while dragons keep showing up where dragons should not be. Zid wanted a nap. He got a conspiracy. What makes it fun is that he refuses to take any of it seriously. He bickers, he jokes, he drifts through cursed ruins like he is out for a stroll, and somewhere along the way he starts keeping company with people everyone else calls villains. Does he actually know what he is doing, or is he just too lazy to care?
