The Gates of Hell are creaking open again, and demons are slipping through to wreak havoc. For Touka Scott, a radish farmer with a perverted streak, that's somebody else's problem. His plan is simple: dig pit traps around his fields and keep his head down. Then his childhood friend Yuna gets attacked, and the legendary hero Sion arrives just in time to save her. Minutes later, Sion is dead at the bottom of one of Touka's own traps. Anri, Sion's necromancer companion, has a workaround: the hero's body is going rotten, but it can still hold a soul. So she shoves Touka's into it. Now a selfish farmer is walking around in the corpse of the man the world was counting on, with Yuna and Anri dragging him toward the Gates to finish a seal that's been weakening for years. Can this clueless trio actually save the world, or are they about to finish it off for good?
