Miu hides behind her bangs and likes it that way. She can barely smile at a customer at her part time job, but she keeps the shifts anyway, because the money goes to her mom and her little sister Haru. Then a letter shows up from a company called GIP. It says she has been picked for a new project. She almost ignores it. She goes. At the meeting spot, seven other girls drift in, each with the same letter in her bag. A manager walks them to a facility that looks way too expensive for a bunch of strangers off the street, and there they learn who really sent the invitations: a thing they only call The Wall. It gives orders. The orders are not suggestions. Sing, dance, show up, and do it all on the schedule it sets, because a major label debut is already on the calendar. Miu never asked to stand in a spotlight. Now she has seven girls beside her, a voice she has to learn to use, and a faceless wall deciding what happens next. What does The Wall actually want from them, and what happens to the ones who say no?
