Then Mana Nagase steps into the spotlight, and the algorithm finally meets someone it cannot measure. Her voice, her movement, the way she holds a crowd: she tops the Grand Prix like nobody before her. On finals day, a sudden accident ends everything. Years later, her old manager Kouhei Makino is still at Hoshimi Productions, still trying to build something new. Girls file in for auditions, one after another. Then two walk through the door who stop him cold. Kotono, Mana's younger sister, determined to follow the same path. And Sakura, a girl whose voice sounds exactly like the one that was lost. Both pass. Both move into a dorm with eight other hopefuls. Ten girls, one stage, and a past none of them can outrun. They rehearse, they clash, they learn what it takes to move as one, all while the idol world shows no mercy. Kotono carries a name. Sakura carries a voice. Is either of them really standing on her own two feet?
