Yowayowa Sensei
Akihito Abikura wants nothing more than a quiet second year of high school. Easy classes, no drama, zero complications. Then Hiyori Hiwamura walks into his classroom as the new English teacher, and the whole school starts whispering that anyone who crosses her is cursed. Kids won't even look her in the eye. They call her a witch, mostly because of that icy stare and the way she mutters under her breath. After class one day, Abikura catches her alone, rehearsing a lesson to an empty room. She's not scary at all. She's clumsy, she trips over her own feet, and she's so shy she can barely get the words out. She just wants to be the teacher she dreamed of being. So he steps in. He becomes class rep, then her secret bodyguard, covering for every panic attack the others mistake for dark magic. Every time he saves her from another disaster, he lands himself in some awkward, ridiculous, way too close situation instead. She keeps pulling him deeper in, and honestly, he doesn't seem to mind. But how long can he keep everyone fooled before they figure out the school's terrifying witch is just a nervous wreck in need of a hand?
