The Totem Warrior

Totems watch over everything here. Ancient tribes carve their gods into wood and stone, and the warriors who carry those marks are treated like walking shrines. They believe hard. They fight hard. They guard their people. Then the story grabs the wrong kid. He was never meant to stand among the chosen. Somehow the mark lands on him anyway, and a life he never asked for swallows him whole. The tribes have their own grudges, their own sacred beasts, their own ideas about who gets to wear the title. Now everybody wants a piece of him, and the beliefs that keep his people safe might just be the thing that gets him killed. Can a boy nobody picked survive a war that was never supposed to be his?
