The Devil is a Part-Timer! Season 2

Sadao Maou used to rule the demon world. These days he flips burgers in Tokyo, clocks in on time, and stretches every yen to feed two freeloading generals who followed him through the portal. Emi Yusa, the hero who once drove a sword through him, works a phone job nearby and checks up on him more than she would ever admit. Nobody is conquering anything. The scariest thing in his week is a shift change. Then a shouting match between the two of them cracks the air open. Out of nowhere, a portal drops an apple, and inside the apple sits a toddler. The kid takes one look at Sadao and Emi and decides they are her parents. Just like that, the demon lord and the hero are sharing custody of a child neither of them asked for. Emi grumbles, but she stays. And for a moment, this strange little family almost works. That is when the archangel Gabriel shows up with a smile and a threat: hand over the girl and the holy sword, or watch everything fall apart. Now two sworn enemies have to stand on the same side, because the thing Gabriel wants to take is the one thing they both refuse to lose. Can a former demon lord and a worn-out hero really protect a child from heaven itself?
