Space Pirate Mito

Uchuu Kaizoku Mito no Daibouken · 宇宙海賊ミトの大冒険
ActionComedySci-Fi1999Triangle StaffRating 6,513+HD

A tiny girl with a huge chip on her shoulder tears through the galaxy, leaving a trail of wrecked police cruisers wherever she goes. Mito is three feet of pure trouble, the most wanted pirate out there, and she cracks a dozen of those ships before breakfast without breaking a sweat. Nobody who looks at her would guess it. That's the trick. She has a son. His name is Aoi, and she sees him once a year, maybe, always careful to keep the two halves of her life from touching. Then his sixteenth birthday comes around, and the whole thing falls apart in a single moment. Aoi finds out who his mother really is, and it's not the quiet version he grew up with. Now he's stuck figuring out what any of it means, about her and about everything else he thought he knew. He wanted a normal mom. She wanted to be called Mom, plain and simple, more than she wanted any score. Which one of them is going to get what they actually asked for?
