Eiji Kitahama wants what half his class wants: a harem. Girls everywhere, all of them swooning over him. Sounds like a fantasy pulled straight from a visual novel, except he actually finds someone willing to build it with him. Rin Nanakura, his junior in the drama club, steps up and starts playing the roles herself. A teasing brat one minute, a quiet, cool beauty the next, then something wilder. Every girl she performs is head over heels for Eiji. He gets his dream harem. She gets acting practice. Everyone wins. Then the mask slips. Somewhere between rehearsals and lunches and all that character swapping, Rin stops pretending. The feelings are hers, not some scripted persona's, and they have been for a while. Now she is stuck in her own act, playing a dozen girls who love Eiji when only one of them is real, and that one cannot say a word. So the question hangs there: how long can you hide behind a character before the person underneath runs out of courage, and what happens to Eiji when he finally figures out which girl was genuine all along?
