Akira Masaki was just walking home. Then the world tilted, and she landed somewhere else entirely, a place where magic is real and the people who wield it are called wizards. Every year, some of them get picked to fight the Great Calamity. That used to be a fight they could handle. Not anymore. Now it kills them, and it keeps coming back stronger. Here is the part nobody saw coming: the Great Sage, the one figure who is supposed to guide the chosen wizards into battle, is gone, and the job lands on Akira. She is a high schooler. She wants her own house, her own street, her own life back. Instead she stays, because the wizards who are still breathing need someone to lead them, and because the ones who could turn the tide are scattered across five countries, hiding or running or refusing to fight. So she has to go find them, one by one, and talk them into standing with her against something that has already buried a lot of good people. Can a girl who never asked for any of this really hold a broken group together long enough to face what is coming?
