Fang Yi is a Daoist priest living in the modern day, ordinary enough, until the morning he wakes up and can feel old things. Antiques. Artifacts. The history baked into them, humming under his skin like a struck bell. One touch and he knows what a thing is worth, where it came from, whether it is real. That gift should make him rich. It does, and it also paints a target on his back. Every collector, every dealer, every shady outfit with a warehouse full of fakes suddenly wants what he can find, and they are not all asking politely. So he gathers his brothers around him and starts digging: tombs, back rooms, auction houses, anywhere the past has been left lying around. Treasures pile up. Enemies pile up faster. Fang Yi can sense a relic at fifty paces, but can he sense the trap that comes with it, or the friend who is about to sell him out for the biggest score of his life?
