Monkey Turn

ActionDrama2004OLMRating 6,813+HD

Kenji Tadano wanted to play professional baseball, but his body had other plans. Too short to make the cut, he gets pointed toward speedboat racing instead by the very coach who knows his arm better than anyone. Then a chance run-in with an old girlfriend changes everything. She stays faithful to him. He has three years to become the best racer in Japan. That is the deal. So he starts training on the water, and somewhere along the way, while visiting her, he comes up with something new: a maneuver he calls the Monkey Turn. It gives him an edge no other racer has, and it might be the thing that closes the gap between him and the top. But a trick only works until someone else figures it out. Rivals want him gone, the clock keeps ticking, and the promise he made is starting to feel a lot heavier than he expected. Can a guy who was told he was too small for one sport really conquer another?
