MF Ghost Season 3
The final race day at Peninsula Manazuru, and Kanata Katagiri lines up right at the front of the pack. Rookie season, best starting spot he could ask for. Then his Toyota 86 GT just will not cooperate. There is an injury he is hiding, and nobody around him has a clue. He slides backward through the field, and the pain drags up memories he would rather leave buried. Up ahead, Michael Beckenbauer and Kouki Sawatari are tearing each other apart for first place. Their driving is aggressive, almost reckless, and anyone who wants to pass them has to bring the same stubborn pride. Kanata looks finished. That is when something old and fierce wakes up inside him, a fighting spirit that might carry him past what his body can take. Can a driver who can barely hold his line really claw his way back to the top?
