The school festival is finally over, and Masamune Makabe is still playing the long game: make Aki Adagaki fall hard for him, then dump her on the spot. Class trip to Paris. The city of love. Could the setup be any better? He figures he has his opening at last. Then a French high schooler named Muriel Besson spots him and decides he is exactly what her romance manga protagonist should look like. She wants his help, and she wants Aki to model the love interest, so the two of them have to show a foreign girl what Japanese love actually looks like. Meanwhile, some guy named Kanetsugu Gasou is walking around pretending to be Aki's childhood friend Masamune, and she has no idea. Revenge was supposed to be simple. Now there is a manga artist borrowing his face, a fake Masamune whispering in Aki's ear, and feelings he did not plan on. So who exactly is falling for whom here?
