Nike just wanted a quiet life in Boering Village. Then a royal notice went up on the board, and his dad practically threw him out the door with a pat on the back. Congratulations, you're the hero. No training, no say in the matter. Here's the thing nobody mentions: the seal that kept Demon Lord Giri locked away for hundreds of years has worn off. Nike's only real hope is Kukuri, a girl who might be the last of the Migu Migu Clan, the people who knew the weird magic that put Giri under in the first place. She's cheerful, he's clueless, and together they have to figure out Guru Guru Magic before the guy wakes up properly. They pick up friends along the way. They also waste a lot of time having fun, because these two are not exactly in a hurry. So a boy who never asked for any of this, a girl carrying the last scraps of a lost clan's power, and a demon lord stirring somewhere in the dark. What happens when the seal finally gives out completely?
