Liz and the Blue Bird

Liz to Aoi Tori · リズと青い鳥
Drama2018Kyoto AnimationRating 8,213+HD

Two best friends, Mizore and Nozomi, are in their final year of high school and spend their days in the concert band club. Mizore is quiet and shy and plays the oboe. Nozomi is the bright, popular one and plays the flute. Then the band starts rehearsing a piece based on the fairy tale of Liz and the Blue Bird, and the two of them are handed the lead parts. Mizore takes Liz, Nozomi takes the bird. Here is the catch. In that story, Liz and the girl always part ways in the end. The more the girls rehearse, the more their duet falls apart, and the band notices. Mizore's fear of losing Nozomi after graduation bleeds straight into her playing. The final concert is coming and there is barely any time left to fix it. To reach their characters, both girls have to look at the tale from a completely new angle. But if the music finally comes together, will Mizore and Nozomi be able to face what waits for them after the last note?
