Akiharu Hino lost his parents young and got taken in by his uncle's family. Not wanting to feel like a freeloader, he picks a boarding school where he can train as a butler for free. One problem: his face. He looks like a street thug, and at Hakureiryou the girls outnumber the guys by a mile, so most of them take one glance and steer clear. Then he runs into Tomomi Saikyo, his childhood crush. Sweet smile, soft voice. She also spent their entire childhood tormenting him, and she has not changed one bit. Meanwhile another girl, Celia Iori Flameheart, is convinced Akiharu is up to something and starts tailing him around campus. Between Tomomi's mind games and Celia's suspicion, fitting in is not going well. The school itself is split in two: a fancy private academy for rich kids on one side, and a program for future butlers and maids on the other. Akiharu is slowly finding his footing, but with those two watching his every move, how long before the whole thing blows up?
