Ryo Amakusa has money, looks, and a head for business. What he doesn't have is a clue about romance. Then one rainy morning he slips on the stairs and a girl catches him before he hits the ground. He thinks that's the end of it. That night he walks into his little sister's room and there she is again: Ichika Arima, his sister's best friend, sitting on the floor like she owns the place. So he does what any self-proclaimed genius would do. He turns on the charm. It goes badly. She stares at him like he just crawled out of a drain, and honestly, fair. Any normal guy would back off. Ryo doubles down instead, showing up with gifts and grand gestures and zero sense of when to quit. Ichika is a high school otaku with a short fuse, and every move he makes lands somewhere between annoying and deeply creepy. He keeps trying anyway. She keeps recoiling. But the weird thing about someone who never stops showing up is that eventually you start noticing the effort behind it, and that is exactly what scares her. Is Ichika actually softening, or is she just too tired to keep running?
