Takumi Fujiwara is still unbeaten on Mount Akina. The kid in the old AE86 has just taken down Ryosuke Takahashi, the RedSuns leader, and now the whole street racing scene knows his name. Then the Emperor team rolls up. Kyouichi Sudou and his crew only drive Mitsubishi Lancer Evos, fully tuned, four wheel drive, the kind of machine real pro racers pick. They don't just beat you. They cut your team's sticker off your bumper and slap it on their own rear spoiler. Kyouichi thinks Takumi is a joke, some amateur clinging to a rusty antique that was never built to race. His pride is exactly why his whole team runs Evos and nothing else. So the question isn't whether Takumi is fast anymore. It's whether an eight six with a kid behind the wheel can do anything at all against a pack of cars that outpower him everywhere. Sudou plans to hand him his first loss, and it won't be close. Can Takumi keep the streak alive, or is this the race where Akina's downhill finally runs out of miracles?
