Initial D Fourth Stage
Takumi finally stops racing for himself and signs on with the Takahashi brothers to build something bigger: Project D. Ryousuke runs the whole thing like a science experiment, chasing his own theory about how fast a car can really take a mountain pass. Keisuke wants the uphill fights. Takumi, still in that beat-up AE86, gets stuck with the downhill. Then Ryousuke puts the team online, posting every challenge and every result for anyone to see. No hiding, no quiet wins. That website turns Project D into a target. Teams outside Gunma read the posts, get angry, and come looking for a fight. SSR, Todo-juku, one crew after another lines up to knock them down. Every race is somebody's home turf, somebody's road they've driven a thousand times. Lose once and the whole project looks like a joke. Keisuke pushes his car past what it should do. Takumi drives like the mountain owes him something. They keep winning, but the gap between them and everyone else keeps shrinking. How long can a project built on proving a theory survive when the whole country wants to bury it?
