Initial D Extra Stage

Mako Satou owns the Usui Pass. Her blue Nissan SilEighty holds the record there, and with Sayuki calling out the corners from the passenger seat, Impact Blue has never lost on their home mountain. Then the Emperor rolls in. A whole crew of Mitsubishi Lancer EVOs that has chewed through every team in Gunma, and now they want Usui too. Mako should be focused on the race of her life. She is not. Something else is eating at her, and Sayuki can hear it in every shift. So Sayuki does what any best friend would do: she plays matchmaker. Miyahara from the Myogi NightKids seems like a decent guy, and maybe a boyfriend is exactly what Mako needs. It starts well. Then it doesn't. Old wounds open back up, and suddenly Mako is staring at a choice no racer wants to make. Keep chasing the professional dream, or walk away from the mountain, the car, all of it, for a normal life. The Emperor is still waiting. Mako's head is a mess. Can she hold the pass when everything she loves is pulling her in two directions at once?
