Natsuki finally works up the nerve to tell Yuu how she feels. They have known each other since they were kids, so this should be the easy part. It isn't. Right at the moment that matters, panic takes over and she blurts out that the whole thing was just practice. A dry run for the real confession, nothing more. Yuu believes her. Worse, he offers to help her rehearse for whoever the lucky guy turns out to be. So now the two of them keep meeting up, running lines, and Natsuki has to stand there pretending her heart is not pounding while the boy she actually wants coaches her on how to love someone else. Then Koyuki, a quiet classmate, asks her out. He is shy, serious about her, and completely unaware he has walked into a mess he cannot see. Natsuki keeps telling herself the next rehearsal will be the last one. Koyuki keeps hoping she will stop looking past him. And Yuu keeps smiling like none of this costs him anything. How long can she keep calling it practice before somebody gets hurt?
