Happiness!

A mage pulled young Haruhi out of danger once, and she never forgot it. Now she's at a school split clean down the middle: ordinary classes on one side, magic on the other. She picked the magic side, obviously. Her best friend Anri is also her rival, and the two of them spend their days flinging spells at each other and studying like nothing else matters. Here's the thing, though. Haruhi isn't only there to learn. She's hunting. Somewhere in this school is the boy who saved her back then, and she has a Valentine's chocolate with his name on it. Anri knows about the search, which makes every new face a potential suspect and every quiet moment a chance to compare notes. The two of them butt heads over lessons, over pride, over nothing at all. Somewhere between the wand practice and the daily chaos, a boy walks past and Haruhi's heart stops for a second. Is it him, or is she chasing a memory that's already faded past recognition?
