Ground Defense Force! Mao-chan

Rikujou Bouei-tai Mao-chan · 陸上防衛隊まおちゃん
ComedySci-Fi2002XebecRating 6,50+HD

Mao is eight years old and life is good. She goes to school, hangs out with her two best friends, and happens to be the granddaughter of the Chief of Staff of the Ground Defense Force. Then Japan gets invaded. The enemy? Aliens. And they are adorable, fluffy little things that no grown soldier can bring himself to shoot at. So the top brass hand three grade-schoolers the job instead. Mao gets a cloverleaf badge that lets her transform, except it gives her zero extra powers. Her friends are the granddaughters of the Air and Marine chiefs, so the whole defense of the country now rests on a trio of kids with cute accessories. The girls suit up, the aliens keep being impossibly cute, and the regular armed forces just stand around uselessly. Can three eight-year-olds really protect an entire nation, and what happens when the invaders turn out to be harder to fight than they look?
