ActionAdventureFantasy202313+HD

The fox demon mess is finally over, and the city of God breathes easy again. Empress Wu, pleased with how things turned out, announces a grand autumn hunt. Princes, nobles, anyone handy with a bow shows up to ride and shoot for glory. Murong Ji, the young Khan of Tuyuhun, gets an invitation too. He probably expects a few days of sport and polite company. Then someone tries to kill the empress. Suddenly Murong Ji is the suspect, and just like that, a guest becomes a hunted man. He has no way to prove his innocence on his own, so he turns to the only person who might listen: Pei Kun. Pei Kun could walk away. Instead he pulls Yuchi Zhu, Han Dongqing and the old crew back together to chase down whoever really planned the assassination. The trail is a mess of close calls and ridiculous detours, and every wrong turn could spark a war between the Tang Dynasty and Tuyuhun. So who set the trap, and why does it point straight at the one man everyone invited as a friend?
