A hospital room, some time in the 26th century. Rion Steiner opens his eyes to a voice. A girl's voice, inside his skull, and no memory of who he is or how he got here. He tears his way out with powers he never asked for, and every hallway he stumbles down only makes the questions louder. Then he learns what's hunting him. The Galerians. And behind them sits their mother: Dorothy, a supercomputer who has decided she is God. She wants Rion dead, but she can't just wipe him out. Because locked somewhere in that scrambled head of his is the only key to the program that could end her. So she sends the others after him instead. Rion just wants to know his own name. Dorothy just wants to keep breathing. Both of them are running out of time, and the voice that woke him up isn't explaining much. Whose side is she even on?
