Magic used to be everywhere. Exorcists banished demons, immortals crafted weapons, and the world hummed with spiritual energy. Then one day it all just stopped. No explosion, no war. The power simply drained away, and the exorcists woke up as ordinary people who could no longer protect anyone. Three hundred years pass in that silence. Then five horsemen ride through the pass, and drought fiends start hunting in the dark. The end of the country feels close, and nobody left alive knows how to fight back. Except one kid. He is sixteen, he carries something called the Heart Lamp, and he has exactly four years to live. His twentieth birthday is the deadline, and the only way out is to break the seal on all the lost energy of heaven and earth. So he walks straight into the thorns. Four years to save everyone, four years to maybe enjoy being young. Can a boy who is already running out of time bring back the power that abandoned the world?
