Yoshino Hide fails tests, trips over her own feet, and generally attracts trouble like a magnet. So when she sneaks a peek at a glowing blue ritual inside her local shrine, of course she stumbles over a tiny bell and crashes the whole thing. The spell explodes. She wakes up in the Sengoku era, centuries before she was born. Except this past is wrong. Every samurai she meets is a woman. Akechi Mitsuhide nearly draws on her, Oda Nobunaga stares her down, and Yoshino slowly grasps that she is not in her own history at all, but some parallel version of it. With no way home, she throws in her lot with Nobunaga and agrees to hunt the Crimson Armor, a relic that supposedly grants whoever wears it the power to rule all of Japan. Rival warlords want those pieces too. Yoshino has no sword skills, no plan, and a talent for falling into disaster, yet she keeps tagging along while armies clash around her. Can a girl who cannot even pass an exam really help unite a country?
