Baki the Grappler
Baki Hanma has been fighting since before he could walk. His mother Emi drilled every martial art she knew into him, muscle by muscle, and the boy never once asked why. He already knew. Somewhere out there stands his father, Yuujirou, a man people call the Ogre, and nobody has ever put him on the ground. Then Baki figures out that his mother's bag of tricks has a bottom. So he walks away from it and starts hunting for monsters on his own. A hundred of them, more or less. Fighters who leave the arena in pieces, if they leave at all. He takes them on one by one, and the strange part is that some of these brutes end up closer to him than family ever was. Meanwhile the clock keeps moving toward the one fight he was born for. His old man is still out there, still the strongest thing walking the planet. What happens when a kid who has spent his whole life bleeding for one moment finally stands across from the man he has to beat?
