They barely make it out of Celes alive, and it costs them. Fai runs with Kurogane's help, dragging Syaoran and Sakura along, all four of them held together by stubbornness and nothing else. Then the road leads to Nihon, where Kurogane comes face to face with Tomoyo again. Old ties, old debts, and no time to sort any of it out. Seishirou shows up wanting the same thing they want. Syaoran fights him for the feather, and this time he actually gets it. That should be the win. Instead it drops him somewhere worse: the Dream World, where Sakura is waiting, and so are Watanuki and the Clone. Nothing about that meeting looks like a reunion. Syaoran has the feather now. He also has no idea what he just walked into, or which version of the people he loves is standing in front of him. When the dream finally lets him go, who comes back out?
