Then Nergal comes back. The same force that erased Silverland now hangs over Goldland, and Sapphire knows exactly what happens next, because she has already lived through it once. She could run. Instead she wipes her face and picks up a sword, ties her ribbon, and swears she will not stand by while another home disappears. But what can one girl with a blade actually do against the thing that took everything from her?
