Wataru Sajou has one hobby, and the whole school knows it: trailing after Aika Natsukawa, confessing his love at every corner, day after day. Then something clicks. He looks at himself, at her, and decides he is just a mediocre guy who never had a chance. So he stops. No more confessions, no more following her around. He hangs out with his friends instead, and with other girls who actually seem happy to see him. That should be the end of it. Except Aika starts acting strange. She comes up to him for no reason. She says things that sound a lot like flirting. Now Wataru is the confused one, and Aika is left wondering if he suddenly hates her, because neither of them can just open their mouth and say what they feel. Two people, one misunderstanding, and a love they both assume is one-sided. Did Wataru give up too soon, or is Aika only noticing him now that he is gone?
