One morning Tenchi Masaki lines up with his family for a photo in the backyard. Then he drops the bomb: he is moving to Tokyo for two years to live with his grandfather. He wants to train as a kannushi and look after the family shrine someday. His dad is thrilled. Everyone else, not so much. In Tokyo he meets Sakuya Kumashiro, a girl who shows him around and laughs at his dumb jokes. She tells him she loves him. Back home, that news lands like a slap. The girls pack their bags and storm the city, all of them suddenly ready to fight for him. Tenchi just wanted to study. Here is the part nobody saw coming. Sakuya was not born. Something dark made her, and its whole plan runs through Tenchi to the Earth itself. So now he is stuck between girls who actually love him and a girl who might be a weapon aimed at his heart, with weird things happening that push his friends further and further away. Can he keep the people he loves safe when the person he trusts most may not be real?
