A boy gets tossed off a cliff by his own father. He survives. Years later, Kazuya Mishima signs up for the King of Iron Fist Tournament, and the only prize he cares about is getting his hands on Heihachi, the billionaire waiting at the top. But two other fighters walk in with badges instead of grudges: Jun Kazama, an operative for the WWWC, and Lei Wulong, a Hong Kong detective, both sniffing around Heihachi's side business. Cloning. Genetic engineering. The kind of work that leaves no witnesses. Then there's everybody else. A pack of skilled brawlers who showed up for the one billion prize, throwing punches and trading blows like it's just another payday. They have no idea what the tournament is actually for. They have no idea what's waiting at the end of the bracket. So who walks out of Heihachi's arena alive, and who was only ever meant to be raw material?
