A thousand years back, a divine general named Fei Peng clashed with the Demon Sovereign Chong Lou, and the sky itself cracked open. His sword, Zhao Dan, tore loose and plummeted into the mortal world. For that, heaven stripped him of everything and dropped him down here with the rest of us. Now the Lock Demon Tower on Shu Mountain is shaking, and that is never a good sign. Jing Tian, the reincarnation of Fei Peng, stumbles onto a demonic sword, which is the last thing a regular guy needs. He falls in with Tang Xuejian, Xu Changqing, and Zi Xuan, and together they have to hunt down the Five Spirit Orbs and seal the tower before whatever is inside gets out. So this ordinary man is carrying a fallen god's old debt, a cursed blade he barely understands, and three companions who each want something from him. The tower won't stay quiet forever. Can a reincarnation even remember who he used to be?
