Minatsu Nakazato spends her afternoons on the softball field, and Shu Akiba, a classmate, can't stop watching her. Then there's Naoto Kadomatsu, a boxer on his way up who keeps running into Minatsu and getting his heart kicked around. That should be a simple love triangle. It isn't. Because Naoto is actually head over heels for Maria. A girl he met once. A girl who is Minatsu herself, back when she threw on a disguise to slip away from some very bad men. Shu has no idea. Naoto has no idea. And Minatsu is standing in the middle of it all, dodging fastballs on the field and keeping her mouth shut off it. Now three people are circling each other, each holding a piece of the truth, and every conversation could blow the whole thing open. Shu wants an answer. Naoto wants Maria. Minatsu wants to survive the season without either of them figuring out who she really is. How long can you keep a secret when you're the only one who knows you're the secret?
